Chéticamp's first festival of the season is fast approaching and you should definitely plan to attend some, if not all, events. This festival is still in its toddler years, but it's already a mighty one. Started in partnership with Parks Canada, Roots to Boots Festival is the perfect marriage of nature and music, offering guided nature walks, dance workshops and kitchen parties. All events in this festival (except for the Saturday night pub event) are family-friendly and offer a variety of learning opportunities. École de musique Raveston Music School will be hosting the Saturday morning Square Dancing workshop where you can learn the three main figures of an old choreography.
